Leave any savannah/desert scenery at that. Ironically I normally don't like the color brown myself (don't ask why, I just don't and can't pinpoint my reasoning for it), but I do like it for a scenery palette.
Rocks, Door Beams, Lamps, are you serious? who the hell walks around and goes ohh that's a pretty rock or that door beam is beautiful. if those are your only examples you've proven my point. instead you should use better examples like the water wheel in Gridania, or the Jewel smashed into the tree also in Gridania. that's the style people notice not some doorbeams and lamps.Just because something isn't flamboyant or over-the-top doesn't mean it doesn't have style. Understand that designers and artists can make a concientious decision to make a world which is subtle and unasssuming. Not everything has to be a Nickelodeon cartoon or constantly "epic".
If you look at the world and the amount of detail the designers invested into even such small things as light fittings and cultural architecture (like the doorways in Uldah; the wooden beams in gridania; the roughyl hewn rocks in Limsa to give just some examples) you realise the game does have a lot of style, and each area is teeming with individualised assets. You can look into any room and see designs specific to that culture/nation.
It's such BS to say that this game doesn't have style.
Just as a precautionary question: Did you open the Final Fantasy XIV Config program (it's a separate program from the game itself) and adjust the graphics' settings in there?

I find some of those corridors like the caves or what not are very beautiful. What about the glowing plants in some of the caves. So pretty!I dunno why people are saying this. FF14 graphics aren't really that good. Characters and mob models are very detailed and nice looking, and their animations are good, but the rest of the graphics aren't really breathtaking.
Additionally, the game has very few areas where it can show off nice looking stuff. Half the game is small, cramped, claustrophobic corridors, and the open areas we have are mostly copypaste with pretty dull textures and almost no landmarks.

Yeah, they're pretty, and then when you see the same plant again a few meters later it's also pretty. And then when you see it a few meters later again, and again, and again, you stop caring...
Anything becomes dull with repeated exposure, regardless of how amazing it is. So the copy-pasted landmasses of FFXIV present an issue in this regard, but the fact that they are so intricately designed, even on the umpteenth visit, there's always some new item to take account of, and marvel at. The level of detail is always still striking, to this day.
This is what's wrong with many other MMOs. On first glance it's interesting, on second glance it's already boring because there's no intricacy in the design. In FFXIV, although there are copy pasted segments of landmass, the original places have more longevity by virtue of the fact that they are so expertly crafted.
