How Does This Game Have Good Graphics?

I dunno why people are saying this. FF14 graphics aren't really that good. Characters and mob models are very detailed and nice looking, and their animations are good, but the rest of the graphics aren't really breathtaking.

Additionally, the game has very few areas where it can show off nice looking stuff. Half the game is small, cramped, claustrophobic corridors, and the open areas we have are mostly copypaste with pretty dull textures and almost no landmarks.

I find some of those corridors like the caves or what not are very beautiful. What about the glowing plants in some of the caves. So pretty!
