    Unhappy New attacks on Summoner are too quiet and feel unsatisfying to use. RIP Fester

    I never realized how much I used the sound of Fester as a sort of "hit marker". Same thing with Bahamut's Deathflare/Akh Morn.

    Sunflare, Exodus and Necrotize feel silent when in dungeons/raids and it makes me feel like I am missing or ghosting an attack every single time. It makes the opener feel very empty to me.

    I don't really disagree, I just wanted to comment that specifically DT SMN is so identical that I didn't even bother to learn the names of Sunflare, Exodus or Woke Bahamut.

    Frankly, the fact that Fester, Energy Drain/Siphon and Aetherflow remained the same when they ripped out the DoTs they were built upon says more than I could about the effort that went into designing EW SMN. And then in DT, their idea to build upon SMN is to keep Fester the same but make it flashier.

    Pictomancer on the other hand seems like a job that's about building to big, powerful, flashy spells done in a creative way both to play and to look at.

    100% agree. I literally had to look up the names to make this post lol. I'll definitely stick with SMN even if it does feel a little hollow right now.

    Pictomancer is probably what I'll work on after Fisher (GIVE US A TACKLE BOX FOR BAIT OMG lol). It looks like a lot of fun!

    Not just these abilities, but the new RDM abilities like jolt III and Grand Impact seem to get drowned out as well. I feel like they muted most of the new abilities they added to the game somehow.

    I feel the same way about those abilities and also have to look out for the actual hit now. It's also a shame these don't feel as powerful either because of that.

    i do often find i press the button a few extra times since im never sure if i actually casted the new bahamut one. the other bahamut one is obvious because its like PSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

    and real bright too like a big blast

    im not even sure what the new one looks like

    I'm glad to see I am not the only one who thought the new sound effects for Necrotize, Sunflare and Exodus was too low.

    To me sound-feedback is important, to feel the impact of the skill is satisfying and let's me know I have used the skill, right now that is not the case for these upgraded skills sound effects.
    After 10 years of hearing the clear, high pitched sound of Fester into hearing barely anything. in the clutter of other sound effects going off makes me question if I have pressed the skill at all.

    Comparing Sunflare and Exodus to Deathflare and Ahk Morn, they lack the "ompf", the heavy hitting sound feeling behind it, the visual effect is amazing and I love that, but they are too quiet and I do not feel the impact, so I wish this is something that could be looked into.

    Exactly! Those things have become part of the identity of Summoner for me. I really really hope they hear us on this one. Just the tiniest audio adjustment and I'd be so happy.

    absolutely agree. it took me a while to figure out what was so wrong with the sound, and im like wait, the new skill that replaced fester is quiet! im sitting there spamming it waiting for the sound, only to look down and realized i've used it twice already and im wasting valuable dps up time
