Client crashes my comp. Started today

I've never ever had this problem before. The client even worked fine yesterday after the servers went back up. But when I tried to play the game today, after I log in and hit "play" the whole computer crashes and I have to reset my computer from the tower. I've tried this more than once. It happens the same each time.

Anyone else having this problem, or is it just me?

Any solutions?

Frequency: Always

OS: Windows Vista 64bit

Graphics card: Nvidia GTX 360

By crash, do you mean freeze? Does the game start to load up at all, or does it freeze as soon as you hit the play button?

Make sure you have your most recent graphics drivers, and try lowering the graphic settings in your FFXIV config panel.

This has been happening to me too, I downloaded my graphic latest drivers and it seemed to work for a day and then it started crashing again after just a min or two of playing I did a clean boot ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135/en-us ) and it seemed to work fine but it needs further testing, try that and see if it works for you.
