Chat window @ fullscreen

Will we be able to maximise the chat window in 2.0 via a shortcut for quick reading after being afk, its very cumbersome at the moment having to use mouse to scroll back.

It worked well in XI, I think the back arrow when maximised scrolled back 10 lines iirc?

you can resize the chat window by clicking on the tab on top of the window then dragging the edge

The OP is referring to the function in FFXI where you could hit a button to toggle the chatbox between small window to fullscreen so you could look through the log easier. Right now in FFXIV you have to manually resize the edges to try and accomplish the same thing, which is a lot more cumbersome.

I think a fullscreen chatbox toggle would be much appreciated.

I would like this also, I find the chat logs hard to read no matter what font size i use. I imagine ps3 will have this for sure though.

Signed. I would say that the chatbox widget is the largest downgrade from FFXI (and I'm not suggesting we take things directly from FFXI, but they should at least be better, not worse) in the game. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to go back and review a strat, or check the chat after I was afk and just wanted a damn fullscreen toggle. While we're at it, can we make it so that if you've typed /p then realize that's wrong and hit cnt-l it switches correctly over to linkshell instead of changing color but still going to /p?
