It probably won’t be anything special, a huge wasted potential. So many people spend time there daily, doing the same activities as they did 6 years ago. Now, especially with the issues surrounding the new DLC, the developers are likely focusing on that instead of seeing the major problems with the old systems. This is even more crucial if they want to attract new players, yet they’re not improving old content. It’s obvious to the players that Gold Saucer should be getting regular updates, as shown by the number of players there, but unfortunately, very little seems obvious to the developers. They seem to work under the assumption of “we already made that, let’s move on,” and in doing so, the game, instead of adapting to current times, remains stagnant—or worse, recently seems to be regressing. But why bother doing anything when the money keeps rolling in and players keep playing?

The game has features, systems, and other aspects that hundreds of thousands of players have been asking to improve or fix for so many years. You just have to look back at forums, comments, or videos on YouTube, etc. Nothing changes, and they do nothing to fix it. So many years have passed, and we’re still asking for the same things—it’s a parody at this point.

Something new for the Gold Saucer was teased for DT before/during the media tour.
The only thing we had confirmed was that it wouldn't be BlitzBall.
