And in contrast, while my game issues started 3-4 days after DT and daily since, yesterday it mostly ran smooth ... except in dungeons and trials. In the open world, I got very few stutters, no freezes. Cutscenes were smooth. Dungeons and trials stuttered like mad whenever anything flashed. Got an error on exiting the game.

It's definitely the game. Something is very unstable and unpredictable.
