    For the love of everything

Please stop this with forcing us to play one of the npcs!!!!!! If i wanted to play melee i would play melee!!!!! This rips the enjoyment out of the game every bloody time i have to play a class i know that my hands cant do without extreme pain!!! Please, I am begging you.... stop this madness! As it stands right now..this horrible mechanic has ground my game to a halt. Its not fair nor enjoyable to bust someone's game by forcing them to play a class that a physical disability wont let them!! Yes i realize i am in the minority here but I am about fed up with this game and its lack of handicap accomidations.

You only have like five buttons to press as a NPC in any of their quest.

If five buttons hurts your hands, no shot you're playing any of the jobs in XIV properly.

Valid point: If you can't even pay attention enough to notice you're posting in the "localization" forum, you can't be expected to figure out how to use four very dumbed-down buttons.

it's worrying that you're struggling with the roleplay instances. I also have disabilities with regards to my hands, but the roleplay instances where you're playing NPCs should be super simplified hotbars that are customizable even within the one-off duties. the most complicated hotbar I can remember might be from post-shadowbringers, and even that was only six buttons.

is the problem that your Hotbar 1 isn't switching to the pet/fashion hotbar for these instances? or is it for some reason making you play with the full job kit despite the intended handful of keybinds?

also, if physical accessibility is an issue, there are plenty of options for keybinds, controller support and third-party ease-of-access controllers, and more. the mappings for buttons and actions are incredibly customizable, and spending some time making sure all your keybinds work for you might be worth your time so that you're not dealing with physical pain in playing the game. alternatively, look into getting a more ergonomic keyboard/mouse/controller, as that might be the source of the problem rather than the game itself.

For all of those encounters they give you an already set of 4 skills, 2 usually are for damage, 1 for healing yourself and the other is usually a movement skill. I REALLY believe in your hability to remember 4 buttons for an easy AF encounter.

And as another player said, if 4-5 buttons is hurting your hands I don't think you can properly play any other job, not even casters.

Confession: I don't like playing as other characters because it means I'll have to read what those buttons do.

*looks at what forum this is posted in*

Hate reading things too, huh? I feel ya.
