GW2 is known for it repetitive issues with memory leaks, yet not all players experience problems with it. So your statement here isn't really paramount.

I'm not downloading a third party software to get a work around. I've never heard of Intel XYU. I'm not techy, so your suggestions aren't something I can do. SE just needs to fix what they broke. The game ran wonderfully on my PC on highest settings before DT. Now it's just annoying to try to play even after lowering my settings.

"I'm not prepared to troubleshoot so I'll blame the game anyway!"

I'm not denying Dawntrail has it's issues but people are trying to help you troubleshoot.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Problem is Intel's been pushing things like Power and Thermal limits to the absolute maximum just to look better than AMD in synthetic benchmarks and now the CPU's are either dying or unable to run stable.

Look at the 14900K for example - That CPU can pull in excess of 300W (That's almost as much power as an RTX 4080 pulls) and is still slower in gaming than the AMD 7800X3D which pulls 120W.

AMD CPU users don't seem to be having these issues, most if not all of the threads I've seen have one of the following processors

    13600K
    13700 / 13700F / 13700K / 13700KF
    13900K / 13900KF
    14700K / 14700KF
    14900K / 14900KF

This is not just affecting gamers, it's also affecting developers and other enterprise solutions that utilize these CPU's.

The failure rate for these chips is estimated to be 50%+
