The first of the 2 A Realm Reborn benchmarks; when is it coming?

As the title states, when is the first of the two benchmarks going to be released? My guess is Gamescom or the Square-Enix event in August. I want to see how the newer version would run on my laptop. I have an NVIDIA GeForce 555M GT with a sort of lowend version of the i7 Sandy Bridge (2.0 to 2.6 GHz) processor. The current version of the game does work very well, it's just that the laptop's fan kicks on max when playing the game and my laptop does get hot. Funny thing is that when I play Final Fantasy XI, my laptop does not make any sounds at all; the fan is silent!! Lol.

So yeah, is the first benchmark going to be coming out soon in August?

Oh, I know what you mean, but I maxed out the game's profile with its options on the NVIDIA Control Panel.

The Alpha benchmark should be releasing soon, though, and that will be before the Beta.

The 10 year old game can improve only so much, doesn't matter how maxed out you configure it to be. Lol

My guess is some time in September. Guild Wars 2 launches at the end of August so everyone will be focused on that for a few weeks.

One for Alpha, which could be very soon, and then one when the game is almost out of Beta and ready for release. It was talked about with Yoshi-P during E3.

Meh, I just wish there would be some way for us to get the game to look as good as the X360 version >_< Now it just looks like a high-quality Ocarina of Time game.

if you can play the game now it should run alot better when 2.0 comes out, since were getting a game made to work on PS3
