Question about the rested exp, I took about a 2 month break and rested in the inn, and i'm wondering how much rested exp can you accumulate? I've gone 40-43 almost 44 Botany so far and i still have a red bar, i'm not complaining, just wondering how the rate works.

I believe it's 100k bonus XP. Since the bonus is 50%, you would have to earn 200k base XP to consume the entire bonus. This means you would have to earn an effective total of 300k XP to get rid of your bonus, assuming no other XP boosts are in effect.

Stack it with a gathering manual for maximum effect

Yeah i've been stacking it with manuals, now i'm doing the storyline quests, and switching to BTN to get the exp, i'll deff be 50 xD

Iirc quest exp gains no benefit from rested exp or bonus exp (food/manuals.)

Quest exp does prolong rested by pushing the bar farther ahead though. The same goes for completion bonuses at the end of leves. You can make the bonus last pretty long with a combination of the two.

Rested EXP caps out at 2 and a half bars of exp.
My wife took a month long break and that's how much rested EXP she had during levequests.

Maybe not, but it speeds up the painful crafting/gathering grinds.
