You are imagining a narrative that doesn't exist. Yes, the foot wear is typical of the region. I grew up in Peru and can see the references. Nothing to see with Jews. Same with the trading which is inspired from the Inca Empire (albeit in a simplistic and cartoonish way). Get out of your obtuse world that is filled with ignorance, troll.\

Anyway you are on my ignore list from now on. Reason: stupid ignorant gringo troll

Though sure, lets just forget that happened too.
    1) Dude was trying to make a sale. Nothing wrong with that. When he was told that there is no interest that was that.

    2) They didn't "get him drunk". The quest actually elaborates on that when you talk to the Mamool-Ja. The Pelu Pelu are used to Mezcal. Their visitors might not be and thus underestimate it's impact. The Pelu just provide it because they think it makes for a comfortable business environment.

When you confront the bar owner and relay the Mamool-Ja's desire for something less strong (in this case Mate tea), the Pelu is thankful for the input, admits that he failed to consider the adverse effects of Mezcal and offers other options immediately.

In both cases, there was no malice involved.

I see we have another person that the point i'm making went right over their head. Who's to say the Tobli weren't based off of Jewish culture? Again art imitates life, and it has nothing to do with wokism. Ya'll are trying WAY WAY too hard to make everything negative because it fits your narrative. Just because it's in there, doesn't mean it's a bad thing. There is only one thing in here that's bad, but because it's the one thing people seem to be "alright with", it's allowed.

Ok, granted on the Mezcal. However, trying to sell Wuk Lemat clothes she didn't need just so she would be "more presentable", and look more Royal? Also, of the Alpaca Saddle Maker who literally admitted he didn't want to because of his support of Zoraal Ja, and made it hard for her? Was there no malice in those trade deals?

i would love a colourful medieval town and castle on a map with a bit of fantasy sprinkled over it. kinda like how old alexandria in the dungeon is depicted.
not dark like old grey and destroyed ishgard.
and that castle in the golbez dungeon? its awesome.
i have to say solution9 is not at all my case

but i mean if you pair medieval reality from different places with a bit of fantasy... not just classic fantasy, steampunk like or something else, there would be a lot of potential to have a non generic medival area

Ok, but what does the footwear have to do with the Duckbill mask they wear? Is that also typical? What's the point of the mask?

Are we ignoring Coerathas and everything the Elezen of The Holy See/Ishgard built?

That's like saying every advertisement in real life is done with malicious intent. The first one that addresses Wuk Lamat literally does just that: advertise his product.

I already stated that the saddle maker was the exception to the rule. No society is a completely homogenous, monolithic block.
So it stands to reason that there are also more shady Pelu Pelu.

Yeah. Traders trying to get people to buy thing is just a trading thing. It's not done maliciously. They have things to sell, and it's easier to sell them if you grab peoples attention.

Ultimately there's no arguing with someone determined to find things to get upset about or who reads jews and nazis into everything they can. The kind of person that looks at 'giants went to war but got sick' and immediately jumps to 'nazis in Russia' as if that is the only failed campaign in history, especially given that invasion didn't fail because of disease itself but because of poor planning and lack of cold weather gear/clothing. It's all the same paranoid outrage merchant 'anti woke' brainrot like people getting mad about Rogue's ass in x men 97.

I remember how back in ARR people said Uldah Lalafels are meant to be Jews, because they are short scummy desert people.
    Hate will forever exist lol.
