lvl 99 artifact/job gear for elezen has no ear holes. wtf why?

why do i just keep getting the feeling of "lazyness" from this expansion over and over again.

like wtf we've had earholes in even the starting robes back in ARR.

even in the dragoon gear its like tight helmet against your head. i just cut off my ears i guess :/

I might be in the minority for this opinion but I like that, actually
I think the elezen earholes have always been quite silly. Miqote and hrothgar I can understand because ears on top of head, but I have always felt it looks kinda stupid that a bunch of hoods just have little pockets for elezen ears

i love my ear holes tyvm :P but its more that literally all gear has it. cept the new job gear it feels jarring

We are not hearing feeling thinking anymore so why would we even need ears at this point?

Jk, I agree this is lame. Even if ear pockets may look silly to some (though personally I like them) they've been an iconic part of elezen and lalafell design since forever, so now it's not clear whether this is a conscious design change or if they just forgot...like they forgot to fix that skin patch on fem au ra hands...

exactly! theyre an iconic part of the race! especially on the metal helmets. the dragoon one is very tight. elezen faces are very narrow it looks really stupid

My first thougt was, is this a Hyur in the picture.

They need the Ear Slots back. I mean how can you tell if it is a Hyur or a Elezen? Why creating an Elezen if you look like a Hyur in the Artifact Sets.

For Viper hood I think an earmuff would look off but it can at least use some more volume around the sides, looking a little like a frog’s head. It looks so uncomfortable!

For dragoon yeah they just cut off the ears… I feel like ear armor is iconic for elezen DRG and blends well with how sharp the rest of the armor looks. They have definitely gotten lazier making races stand out in gear.
