Bicolored Gemstones for old FATEs

I'd like to get y'alls thoughts on Gemstones as additional rewards for ARR --> SB content. I think it would give more incentive for maxed level players to do older world content. I think it would make the leveling and story process more lively for sprouts going through for their first time.

It could also give us an alternative way to get the Riding Maps or just give Allied Seals/ Centurio Seals for the Achievement FATEs.

Idk how hard it would be to implement this into the older content but I think it would be great if only to make the world feel more lively.

It's been suggested many times in the past but I doubt SE would ever do it. Those FATEs already give Grand Company Seals as a reward, which are fairly important to lower level players trying to earn their Grand Company ranks (especially when they don't have Expert Deliveries unlocked) and remain useful at higher levels to purchase other items.

True, I guess I'm apart of a very low % of players that are just about done with all older open world content. This must be what Ultimate Raiders feel being a very small % of the player base. Being Hardcore and having unique problems that don't effect the other 98% lol.

I guess another thing they could do is once players hit level 70 and start ShadowBringers is introduce the Bicolored Gems to all Fates?

Id like this too. SB and HW Fates are mostly dead outside the occasional SHB Relic farmer unlocking a stage. Both could use EXP boosts too.

I was just thinking about this as well. And came to the forums to check if anyone else felt this way. I was thinking of it as a definite addition to the new player experience. The guild marks you gain only at level 30, they could make bicolors available at level 1. Considering the first bits of the game are the least compelling, even moving the maps to bicolors like they are in the latest expacs would give new players something to do besides barrel through the story.

BLU can instakill most of the boss fates in these areas, for that reason alone, I doubt they'll add gemstones to them.

There's nothing stopping them from making it so you can't acquire bicolors with BLU, even if it's just for early zones where it could cause issues

I just want this to happen as an excuse for us to go back and visit old zones for some new rewards. I doubt they’d do it, but a kid can dream
