Cross Region Travel to Oceania issues.

Hi fellow eorzean's, I'm having a problem on this new cross region travel, I'm from Aether NA and wanted to try out and visit my friends from Oceania using the cross region travel feature but whenever I try to attempt it, it just says the following " Your account Data must be updated before traveling to worlds in Oceania Data Center, after returning to the title screen, please select Oceanian Data Center from the data center option and access the character selection screen. This will allow you to use data center travel system to visit worlds within this regional data center".

So uhm I'm confuse where in the world do I update my account data in the first place, and which data inside my account needs an update anyway?
Or is this feature not working right now?
This is so overly complicated it's frustrating.

What it means is, go to the title screen and select "Data Center" then choose Oceania, let it connect and then load the character select menu.

Once it does that, it will be empty since you have no characters on that DC, you can Quit back to the title screen, select "Data Center" and then Aether (NA) and connect, at the character menu select your character and right-click over it and select Data Center Travel, then Oceania as the destination, now it will work.
