We need a New Macros Command and a I told you so.

So in Dawntrail a lot if not every job now has a ascended skill a skill that evolves into another skill based on your level, some even have combo skills that change into the following skill in said combo, of course, this is to alleviate button bloat especially on controllers, however for those in the know, we kind of had this already with macros, no its not the use an ability or two I'm a macro which yes causes a delay but rather hot to swap the configuration or lay out of your buttons with a simple press of a button, not it doesn't cause a delay in skill use it literally does what I just said, change the lay out of your buttons as fast as you can press them. This is essentially what the vipers combo this is the I told you so, difference between in the ones I would for example on monk allow me to push the first hit in the combo then change two of my other buttons to related skills in that combo line and back if I use the 2nd combos starter button, no delay no loss of time, no loss of dps.

Anyway the New Macro I wish we had and would advocate for is something that allows us to level lock or alter buttons, so example I have Passage of Arms on a button, but I know that can't be used at lower levels which I may sometimes get based on daily roulettes, so it'd be nice if I could have it so that when the game detects I'm playing in content that level caps me from using it, it changes into another button like sheltron or block

Not sure why you have to sound so ... vindictive? The system is hardly new, they already used it in the PvP for a few years now, they just now expand the use into PvE. What you described is not exactly uncommon either, one button SMN rotation using hotbar swapping had also existed a long time for example. But for people like me who have a specific use for every single hotbar, we don't have spare hotbars lying around to macro swap so the new system is welcome.
