Can mobs drop more materials please.

Please consider these who would like to gather materials like leather, alchemy and culinary items from the mobs themselves.

You have removed world loot a lot this expansion. Fate monsters do not drop items, the few monsters we see scattered around in fixed areas have a very low drop rate. I killed 20 alpaca and only got 3 meat. What is this drop rate?

I understand fate gems are there to purchase the materials but with the mounts being 5000 gemstones can you please give us the same drop rate of materials from monsters like aldgoats do in ARR.



Side note - your worlds are beautiful but the fauna placement is very old fashioned. It's still a few monsters randomly placed on a map like its 90's mmo. Look How organic World of Warcraft places their monsters on the map, lets make a world worth exploring!

Aldgoats are a bad example. Hippogryphs have a similar droprate to current enemies.

Its really frustrating, i cant even recall gettin ANY drop during the story...

I wouldn't expect getting materials when you kill maybe 5 mobs in an entire zone during the MSQ, but the drop rate is really abyssmal, nw with the bonus Gemstones there really is no excue to not grind fates instead, you can get up to 64 gemstone from one fate now (but thats rare)

I did have stray drops of several items but getting 1 pineapple when I need 5 to make Cooking Mezcal wasn't inspiring. Sending retainers to collect does help but it takes several ventures before the number feel meaningful, especially when it comes to getting skins to make leather.

FATE farming for gemstones makes far more sense. You can do any FATE then purchase exactly what you need in the amount that you need with less wait. No random leftover items to take up room in inventory once the crafting is done. No "I've still got Hammerhead Crocodile left when what I need is Silver Lobo".

What's sad is that it's been this way since Shadowbringers yet there are so many in the community that have continued to view FATEs as a waste of time.

FATE grinding is very efficient now that bonus condition extend to gemstones in addition to XP. I spent not quite an hour FATE farming with my Marilith FC and got about 350 gemstones. Getting bonus gemstones on a FATE happens fairly often, especially if you remember to burn down the Forlorn Maiden when it appears so the next FATE will have a guaranteed bonus. That I also got a full level on the job I was using was welcome, too.
