What is this?

Hi i have had this visual issue since moving to PS5 . There is this ring effect in the sky and around the edges of the screen and it’s far more noticeable in certain lighting. Is this just really bad colour banding or something else, and regardless of what it is what can i do to fix it?

They have a darkened edges feature (dark around the edges of the screen). It seems to default to "on". You can turn it off in the in-game settings.

I turned it off. It made already dark areas harder to see in.

I don’t seem to have that setting, that might be a PC only thing.

Next time I'm in-game, I'll take a pic of where it is for me. I'll also check my son's PS5 while I'm at his house tomorrow - is that what you are on?

I looked it up and it’s a setting called limb darkening and it is indeed PC only, you unfortunately can’t turn it off on PS5 (i was on PC before, but my PC doesn’t really have the specs for Dawntrail so I switched over to PS5) TY for trying to help me though.
