    Unable to use Visa debit (north American)

    Since the update 8 days ago I can no longer use visa debit. Support has not helped but tried to blame it on my end. I had to use my mother's own master card because I don't own a credit card and it works but won't work for any of my visa debit cards even with the updated addresses matching.. it truly baffles me how support isn't trying to help on this matter while they are having an active mogstation sale

    Visa debit in the UK hasn't worked for some time here either. Maybe this new payment processor has an issue with debit cards. If that's the case that's stupid because Credit cards aren't as common here in the UK as the US & JP iirc.

    How is a technical issue with the payment system refusing to acknowledge a card that should work (as far as I am aware) not a technical issue?
    I get it you people might not be the right department because it's not an issue with the game directly, but there are dozens of posts in here and on reddit stating the "real" support doesn't help either. People just get some general first aid options that don't work and then are being ghosted. At least get in contact with them and tell SE's support to do their job instead of just nope-ing out of this.

    i use debit to pay for this game over 8 years, and now they tell me they don't want reveive money from my debit anymore, you can blame it for my paranoid that i don't want to change to credit card because alot of scam i read on internet over years

    I haven't tried, but I would suggest using paypal. Either way, this whole payment system seems like such an awful mess from SE. Leave it to SE to refuse money from their customers. Such a shame they're doing this. I hope it gets resolved soon.

    On a sidenote, man XIV has been making really poor decisions lately. Their bad press has been showing up in my google news feed, and I never get XIV in my news feed. Between this awful payment system, the lack of content, the terrible rollout for the new graphics update... sheesh, are going to have to do another calamity? Well, maybe we can get a new legacy mark : /
