Discontinued Content - NEED more answers

One exception being, I believe, Shposhae.

That would be incredibly silly on their part, considering Shposhae was probably the most praised of all of the dungeons. We're well aware of CC/AV staying, but I would hope they would change the way they work, rather than being the same way as they currently are. As of right now I can't say that any of the dungeons seem really fun.

Would really appreciate some answers to these questions.

I would love to know if I should be holding on to my Primal Weapons, or if I am free to trade them for seals. Can we still get them in 2.0, and will they be equivalent versions, stat-wise? I remember in older games, Like Asheron's Call, when "Pre-Patch" versions of weapons and equipment became the most desirable pieces of equipment.

Same goes for Darklight, will it still be obtainable in 2.0?

Great Job on the recent patch devs =) Deus Darnus really had that classic FF feel, in the vein of Sephiroth/Kefka/Zeromus, you guys are really doing a fantastic job on this game!

1) will primal battles go as well? and with them our chances to obtain their drops?

2) will discontinued achievements still display on the UI as forever unattained ones?

3) will cutter's cry and the aurum vale still exist? and will DL gear still drop from the 5 chests?

4) will stronghold and their bosses stay?

5) will some faction leves be removed? If so, which ones?

6) will skirmish and its drops stay?

7) will ALL cutscenes stay on the journal or will the dated one be gone?

Almost nothing you listed is in any way 7th umbral era specific and is not being removed.

As far as I know the only stuff that's surely being removed are things like the garlean city in vasions, the crap with deaspected crystals and faded pages, stuff like that. I could be wrong but the primal battles and stronghold and instances and stuff aren't going anywhere.

Skirmish was JUST added, and again doesn't have anything to do with the 7th umbral era story. Why the hell would they remove this?

With some of the achievements going away do you think the rewards/titles for them will be taken from those that have earned them?

Some I'd say can probably be put into their updated 2.0 achievements to be re-earned, but things like the holiday titles may not.

Do you actually read the text or just skip over it? The Primal battles have very much to do with the 7th Umbral Era. So does Darkhold, and Skirmish does tangentially. That doesn't mean they are going away though, the Primal battles specifically have been stated to be staying, but the quests you use to get to the primals will be changed (because they have to do with the 7th Umbral Era) obviously.

I want those answers as well. . . . Loud and clear. The info on Lodestone just threw me off. I do remember them mentioning that current primal fights are going away, and I sort of remember something about the weapons as well. But remembering or hearing from people on the forums who "have heard" or "remember" something someone said god knows how long ago is not good enough!

There's been so much talk, during the previous months, about stuff that won't make it into 2.0 and for a discontinued content list, what we have on Lodestone right now is just, dare I say, stupid. Gobbue, guild marks and achievements.

Will we have the completed titles and achievements still in our in-game list, even if not available any more? Can we get a clear "yes" or "no" on primal weapons still being obtainable through some other primal mechanic? And skirmish, as I understood it, is tied to the 7th Umbral Era, and they said all of that content will be inaccessible. . . .

hope the new content dont make it where all you do is throw blm's at it, and yeah people still do it.
