SGE small adjusments (Pepsis/Philosophia) ?

Dear dev team,

Pepsis : (This is not a debate on how useful or efficient it is)
It's not a problem or an adjusment that will change anything, but currently, the shield from Eucrasian Prognosis II value is 360 potency. If you consume the shield right away to transform it into raw heal through Pepsis, it becomes a 350 potency heal.
I know that it used to be a small gain back in EW (e.prog was 320 vs 350 for pepsis). Now it's a tiny loss.
The only scenario it become a gain is if you can activate the shield before it's entirely consumed.


Should the potency be adjusted to 360 potency to mirror Eucrasian Prognosis II shield potency ? I'll let you decide.

Philosophia : Currenty, this skill is gcd reliant (with a timer).
To get the full value of it, you need to cast it the later possible between your GCD and cast and insta cast GCD at the end of the duration (Phlegma/Toxicon).
Shouldn't it be better to make it like Soteria, with stacks so that you don't have to keep an insta cast or late weaving it ?
It'll make it more consistent, especially for a 180s skill.
I'll let you decide as well.

These adjusment won't drastically change anything to the job of course.
Just thoughts on the currenty toolkit cohesion.

Pepsis was always like that with Eukrasian Diagnosis though. The shield is ~540 potency compared to Pepsis only giving you 450. Now it's just consistent between both the single target and AoE shield. It's more like a way to make use of the shield that's left over if the entire thing wasn't used, or you can even learn to wait until some of it's been used to pop it and get more mileage out of it.
And as for Philosophia, late weaving cooldowns that are reliant on damage skills is a thing many jobs have to do still. GNB is required to late weave No Mercy in order to fit everything in. WAR needs to late weave Bloodwhetting to fit an extra GCD in there. Having it be stacks like Soteria might be nice, but I don't think it's necessary.

Must've been an oversight. Nevertheless, I personally think SGE's Pepsis is a rather flawed action to begin with when its foundation has always been "How do we make an Emergency Tactic without giving Emergency Tactic to SGE?"

If I have the magicked wand on hand, my basic a$$ brain would turn Pepsis into something like this:

Pepsis (Cooldown: 30s) - 15y ◯
Turns any currently active "Eukrasian Diagnosis" and "Eukrasian Prognosis" into "Chylous", which nullifies incoming damage.
Eukrasian Diagnosis: 350 cure potency.
Eukrasian Prognosis: 200 cure potency.
Duration: 20s

The barrier may stack with any of SGE's other source of shield incl. the E.Progs and E.Diags, giving the SGE an option to use 2 E.Progs in a row at the cost of the 2 GCDs for thicker shield.

No comment on Philosophia. I do wish it's a Pankardia that you trigger via Eukrasia > Soteria that you learn in lv60 instead of Physis II. This frees up the lv100 slot for SGE to have something else.

There are a lot of things wrong with sage's philosophia:

- the 20% only affects your gcds. it does not affect healing abilities. so in your entire kit aoe shields and pneuma are the only ones affected.
- the 20% does not increase your kardia healing which technically is a gcd, having it interact or even having soteria affect the heal on philosophia would be good but in the current state neither does anything.
- It's by far the worst 100lvl ability any healer got, it does not work with the sage's current kit and it actively works against what we are doing.

is it completely bad? absolutely not in a case where you actively constantly need to heal, it's incredible strong. The problem we have not 1 instance of actively needing to do that maybe e12s p2 enrage had it but that's old and noone remembers it by now.
Atm it needs to be a 2m cd or affect actions at 3m.
