I was thinking about what other type of Physical Ranged jobs there could be, as it's the smallest group, and the idea of a Blitzballer class came to mind.
I was wondering what are your thoughts on this idea? And how could it work?

People have been saying that Blitzballer would be a great Phys Ranged Class (and of course plenty of people hate the idea which is fair enough) and I'm one of them. Dancer throws chakrams that come back, we can do the same for a ball I'm sure. The teams messed around with ball kicking animations in Hildibrand so let's go all in on that. The team is sadly against huge RNG mechanics, just look at the removal of Balance fishing, so I can't say we'll be getting any kind of Slots Mechanic like Wakka has for it if it existed.
But I think that would an interesting idea for it. Its job gauge would be slots that are activated using certain skills that lets you perform some kind of move or use some kind of skill depending on whatcha get. Could give them two phases for burst, one in melee where they use tackles and melee skills and then they 'steal' the ball so to speak and go ranged to use blitzball attacks. So you get both kinds of player, the fielder and the ball handler. But I know this is a long shot as it sounds like hell for a raid team. lol
I would also like it if the job wasn't called Blitzballer but it was named after a team. I'd like it if the job was called "Auroch" but I would imagine they don't want people to confuse it with the field monster I guess? Dunno.
Why not name the class 'Ballbuster'?
