Hi there! I'm still in the middle of my Dawntrail adventure, but I have noticed a few pretty wonky/illogical unlock requirements for side content along the way so far.
As the title says, my feedback here is about the Tuliyollal Scrip Vendor's unlock requirement(s).
Now, the MSQ points you directly at Wachumeqimeqi pretty early on. There is no avoiding unlocking those quests, because the MSQ directly results in them becoming available. There's an aethernet shard right there. The content was spotlighted in multiple live letters and has a place in the patch notes.
The Scrip Vendor is a mere 3 paces from where you stand when the Wachumeqimeqi quests are first made available to you.
Pursuing the Wachumeqimeqi quests results in you being awarded crafter and gatherer scrips, from Level 90 on up.
One might reasonably conclude that the Scrip Vendor would unlock along with your completion of your first Wachumeqimeqi quest. Or even upon the Wachumeqimeqi quests becoming available at all.
But that is not the case.
Currently, if you choose to engage with the Wachumeqimeqi quests as they are available alongside the MSQ, you will have no choice but to constantly travel to other main hub cities from past expansions, just to be able to spend the scrips you earn in Tuliyollal.
I am still doing my best to avoid spoilers, but I did hit a point of frustration after my third scrip-spending teleport round trip while working on the Wachumeqimeqi quests, so I looked up the present Tuliyollal Scrip Vendor unlock requirement.
I am in utter disbelief for the unlock requirement being in the second half (possibly last third, or quarter?) of the MSQ.
I know it's been years since the Studium, and even more since the Crystalline Mean, but I don't recall having anywhere near this headache accessing the clearly-placed Scrip Vendors for those areas during Shadowbringers and Endwalker!
So, I am asking the developers to reconsider the unlock requirement for that vendor. Please adjust the Tuliyollal Scrip Vendor so it is accessible at a time that is actually useful for pursuing the Wachumeqimeqi quests, which it is clearly placed there to benefit.
