Last Zone in Dawntrail... wtf!

The last zone is unique and beautiful... and then we make it look like another derelict, crap heap. Seriously, wtf?

Ohh, more gray castles, oohhhh. This last zone went from a 10/10 to 3/10. Just basic gray stone crap.
I honestly feel bad for the devs that put time into it, just to have to destroy it all.

Yeah it really went from "Somewhere I want to gpose in" to "somewhere I wish to avoid" really fast. I've heard you can New Game+ to fix it as an option, but that just feels so... unnecessary.

I had hoped that there will be a way to restore it to the old glory. I'm guessing my last hope is that we do this in a Patch MSQ, but the final cutscene did not suggest anything of the sort from what I remember. Really a huge shame, surely the Sharlayan masterminds Koana and Krile could figure something out with the sassy cat girlboss and the leader of the First turned WOL simp.

Gameplay > story. Always.

And before you say anything to try and counter that.

I like it narratively, but it will get old with time, kinda like the zone music in UT. I have a hunch we'll be back there though, and we may restore life to it in the future in some form, it does seem strange that they went through all that effort making that beautiful zone only to have it exist for like, 2 hours.

In the interim, you can toggle on NG+ and get the old version back. It's not a perfect solution, but it is an option

You can still do everything there is to do there (fates, hunts and side quests). Personally I didn't care for the zone. It felt like a creepy Vegas (including fake Venise).
