Help Ragnarok players!

This server has gone to hell....there's is so little activities
going on that it's almost impossible to get anything done.

Even with this new Patch 1.23 content....
(either it's too hot to play, or half the server got bored & left)

I made a huge mistake moving here, i thought it would be less laggy for
me as european to move here but it made no diffrence.

Not to mention i had to leave my friends from another server because of some priavte stuff.
So please do something.... i was gonna ask for server change but people in here will flame
me for that & tell me... why did you leave in the first place? etc....
here's your answer... Non of your buisness.

Im a nordic player on a european server, with seems mostle be occupied by
french & german players...2 languages i dont understand at all.
Yeah im sure they can speak english but not all do...

Give us back the option to move server...again please.

"Will be possible in 2.0" ...yeah, yeah we heard that before.
Now that the missable content list is up, how are some of us with a server
like Ragnarok gonna be able to get any of those done before beta test / 2.0 release?

If anyone here has nothing good to bring to this discussion...why are you here?

People won't want to be mean, but there's nothing that can be said after S-E already explicitly said they are not planning any more server transfers until 2.0 (especially out from Ragnarok, they only did one extra to get more people IN).

Might be true, but i think they need to re-think, re-look at the server statistics again.
Something has gone horribly wrong on Ragnarok.

Huh, weird... I had no problems at all finding pickup groups for skirmish or getting members to fill party slots for "To Kill a Raven". And except for a few Japanese players now and then, pretty much all of them spoke English. (And the Japanese always did a good job even with little communication! )

Maybe you're searching in the wrong places? Ul'dah is bursting with shouts for random stuff, Limsa is full of groups doing Skirmish and Gridania brimming with people who want to beat the last company quest.

If all else fails, why not join a linkshell? There are several English speaking EU linkshells recruiting on Ragnarok. Some of them can be found here.

Sorry you where under the impression that Ragnarok was a localized server. Its not at all its just a time zone recommended server this was stated multiple multiple times during server transfer time. Hopefully they do give the option to change servers again, best of luck to you.

Maybe the shouts like many others have mentioned are shouts
for things not fitting the one looking for just that content.

My main for example... dosent have access to "To kill a Raven" yet,
since some players seem to be rude enough not to reply back to /tell's
they get even after they shout for "looking for members".

Or ppl leaving after 1 failed attempt at something.
Trying to get new pt members for somethig with so little
players on the server...cause alot of problems.

Your LS might be big enough, and you obviously get stuff done... but not everyone have that luxiury.

I never had any problems with japanese players, as long as they do use some
Auto-translations so some of us atleast understand what they are looking for members for.

I saw one shout in japanese before i just gave up, and sadly...it was in japanese only...no auto-translation.

Besides...like i said, i need my friends back on another server.
You get things done alot faster with less fuss with your friends.
Sadly enough i had not much choice in the matter of last server change.
Maybe i should have just shut up & never requested this, or just plain quit the game.

It's sad but the server populations are not very evenly distributed.

On Durandal we have tonnes of people. This caused its own set of problems. It's difficult to load into content after a patch like this one. We're going to be extremely disappointed if we can't load into the battle when we want to during the next update while we strive for a world first.

If you want more people on your server - be careful what you wish for.

Oh, no doubt about that. I just don't agree that it's too hard/impossible to get things done on Ragnarok. In fact, when shouting for members for any event, we constantly get people who join us simply to help out. You really shouldn't have any problems finding help if you can muster a small amount of patience. If you want everything handed to you, then yeah, you'll have to wait for the content finder in 2.0.

And one thing I have to add: if you don't get a reply to a /tell, there's nothing inherently "rude" about that. I'm sure I've missed my fair share of tells as well while trying to talk strategy in /p, answering questions in /l and reply to incoming requests via /t all at the same time. There's only so much a human brain can process simultaneously.

Again, I understand that it's pretty frustrating if you can't play with your friends. But there won't by any world transfers before 2.0, so you might as well try to make the best out of it instead of blaming everything on the server. :P
