Absolutely More New Races Please

I apologize that you have to read another thread about this subject. I feel like I just have to say it. Yoshi P is allowed to add whatever he desires to this game. There is nothing wrong with new races.

Viera and Hrothgar were wonderful additions, but there are still niches that have not been fulfilled in Final Fantasy XIV.

Every single MMO that adds races overtime is not ruined for it. In fact, they are often better for the additions.

We need our community to be cautious, and not just blindly ask for races as a MAIN PRIORITY, because it is true that our character customization needs upgrading. However, there are a lack of other small races than lalafell. The Hrothgar are a furry race, but they don't meet other types bestial aesthetics that some players desire. Not everyone wants to play a huge buff character. A leaner build for a furry style race, would be popular with certain types of players. A bird race would also be popular, there is no avian like race in the game currently. Players have expressed a wish to play as Burmecians, or Ivalice Moogles, it doesn't take much to look at if you just search the forum history.

While the priority should be making improvements to current races for right now, there is no reason that future expansions can't expand on the amount of options. As long as they don't restrict gender ever again.

I don't object to adding more races, but finish the last two first.

I'm in favor of having new races under one condition: Being complete races with nothing lacking (Such as hats)

i think they should revamp the old ones more first. legit just touch them up. add a few more racial unique hairstyles + more choices for physical attributes over all.

SE had announced Hrogar and Viera in both genders. Then they finally put one in the opposite gender to Endwalker and Dawntrail.
And since people will have cried over Topics with 20k responses, people will feel like they've been granted their wish, that's the feeling I get with these two races anyway.

I wonder which races they'll announce for the next expansion before removing one of the two genders and putting it back in 2 expansions... Smart...

As for Au'ra Forever, I'd just switched from Hyur to Au'ra after discovering her "Princess Run" side.

On second thoughts, the right plan would be... But yes... The Ja... That way, people will want Ja Ja, it'll fit on 4 extensions, a genius, I tell you !
I don't know the name of the race but it doesn't matter, it's Ja and Ja Ja for me, like cha cha cha, a cha with 3 heads Yeah !

The difference is that in most other MMOs people make quite a few alts so it's easier to play a new race. But in FFXIV alts are pretty much discouraged because you can play all classes/jobs on a single character and the game is very alt unfriendly in general. So the main way people will play as a new race is to fantasia into them. Which just isn't worth it for most people.

I do like new races just to see the variety in the world but I honestly think the resources are way better spend elsewhere.
