As someone who hates dungeons and raids with a passion, I have just decided I don't care anymore how the MSQ ends for now. I'll go do what I really love in this game. I don't want to waste my weekends on doing the same stupid stuff over and over, knowing what I should do but not being able to and still being forced to do it.

What part of the first boss are you struggling with?
You're probably just selling to other people who barely play the game and only do MB or crafters, if there's someone trying to gear up seriously or they're too lazy to gring they're probably doing hunt trains and getting the equipment for free with new tomes.
Hunt trains barely take any time, hit enemy once in a party and you get the full reward per monster and you can use the nuts to get new materia...And poetics gear tend to last for 6 levels or so.
As a crafter myself I've been on mb too, until I got the large house and realized I don't really need the gil other than buying minions and mounts, thanks to hunt train magic, that's what i've recommended to everyone.
My old mentor once told me:
They are the most cheap and efficient method to gear yourself and not waste gil in what's basically Fast Fashion ingame
Agreed, I find very counterintuitive to play a multiplayer game that's basically Co-op without expecting social interaction. Honestly I'd even dare to say that's one of the main selling points of these kind of games and it doesn't have to do anything close with gaming skill.
If you like the game despite of not liking some aspects of it, then expect to play a game with parts you'll have issues with.
I also believe that these kind of videogames have the potential to help us be better, even if that's not what they're designed to... Maybe complimenting someone's glam could start a friendship? Or not, but trying and overcoming that hard moment could be a good practice...
I have some of that anxiety myself irl and some people one day saw me crafting a broom minion...I made those for them and I taught them how to craft, it's been years and I'm still at their FC but at that time I just wanted to be left alone, I'm glad I wasn't.
The moment Trusts become close to average clear time is when this system will break the game. If I can skip the queue time and get the same or similar clear time I reckon its faster just to play solo with trusts. So any changes to Trusts have to be done so carefully as to not impact the MMO experience. If you did those changes, anyone who sees a queue longer than 5m would instantly go trusts which would only compound on itself leading to dead queues -> use trusts -> more dead queues -> more trust.Edit: I guess they are saying "it may be too timeconsuming and expensive" to change them, but I call BS on that statement. If its going to help retain the great number of players who have been complaining about content they feel is overtuned, then its 100% not too expensive. Either way implementing Echo/hp nerfs inside solo content is nothing new. If you fail to a solo dungeon you are given the opportunity to nerf that instance when rejoining it. So it IS possible to nerf things on the fly.
I'm pretty sure the Devs themselves said that if you want to clear quickly it shouldn't be through Trusts and while I understand your intentions of these changes are to help struggling players, it has the effect of disrupting the balance of the game itself. So no, its not that simple.
The echo suggestion maybe? can work? But you'd have to find a way to make sure people cannot just speed-run deaths to stack 5 echos and btliz through the dungeons with a 50% buff.

No. This game is for everyone, including those with social anxiety. It is up to other players to be kind and supportive because that's what decent people do. We lift each other up, we don't tell them to get lost if they struggle. If you have such crippling social anxiety, then I'm sorry to tell you this, but a MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER ONLINE (MMO) game is just not for you. If you want the story, there are literally hundreds, if not thousands, of YouTube videos or thousands of live streamers who play thru the story, and some who even voice act normally un-voiced cutscenes, for their content. I don't say this to be mean, but this is just someone who needs to learn to either get over their problems, or accept them and stay in their lane.
I disagree with this. It's not up to the players to do anything. People can be, do and say whatever they want online. I could argue that it should be up to society all around the world, online or offline, to be kind and supportive. Are they? No, of course not. Because they don't have to be. The benefit of an online community, however, is that you can report them to the developers for them to handle. If they get banned for their actions, then that's karma served. But it shouldn't be expected of people to adhere to any particular ideology.

IMO,this game is mostly about your wardrobe be it crafted or won and enough hit points so you can manage to not get smashed when you hunt, fate, etc hehe. I play for myself, my blacklist is legendary after dealing with MMOers for almost 30 yrs. It's all good, I have a cute lil FC with subs deep diving constantly and a rocking med house to boot. Only reason I posted here was to shout out my view about what would give me a hand at this stage of my life. I do not want to change things for others, just enhancement choices for those that choose to use for a bit of help. People appear to even balk at things that are none of their biz or have negative or cruel remarks. I'd say those folks are the miserable ones. How can they get all butt-hurt when something doesn't even affect them??? If something does not please me and I do/say nothing then shame on me.You're probably just selling to other people who barely play the game and only do MB or crafters, if there's someone trying to gear up seriously or they're too lazy to gring they're probably doing hunt trains and getting the equipment for free with new tomes.
