About Wuk's strength [Ending spoilers]

Zenos defeated us easily in the first two encounters once he was done playing around. It was not a nearly even fight. He toys with us and then when he's done toying with us, defeats us quickly and easily. We might break a sword or damage his armor or whatever but we are very clearly outclassed and he instantly shuts us down when he gets tired of playing around.

And Bakool Jaja and even Zarool Ja (pre power up at least) are no Zenos. And we know that, without drawing on souls to power himself up, Zarool is weaker than his father even in his old age.

If questing and doing dungeons is enough for the WOL to bridge the gap with Zenos then I dont' see why it shouldn't be enough for Wuk Lamat to do the same. The trusts are canonically there for the dungeons afterall. The WoL 'leveled up' to fight Zenos, Wuk Lamat 'levels up' to defeat Bakool. And we don't even know how the duel between her and Zooral Ja would have gone if he hadn't backed off after she broke his regulator anyway.

In the final battle, Wuk Lamat does not save the day. She does not defeat Sphene single handedly. She does not shield us from Ultima or anything like that. WE are the ones who push Sphene into drawing on reserve power, and making her error out from pushing the system too hard trying and failing to kill us. WE weaken the system so that WUK LAMAT can escape from cyber prison. And in that final phase sure she does a big chunk of damage to the boss but at that point the fight is basically over anyway because WE pushed the Queen onto the back foot desperately trying and flailing about to win even though it's clearly over, just as with Thordan/Hades/Endsinger final phases. Wuk Lamat just shows up to put a climactic cap on the arc betwen her and Sphene, she doens't really turn the tide of the fight.

Whether she SHOULD be there narratively is another topic with no relevance to her physical strength.

Because the WoL is literally built different and learns entirely different combat styles within seconds, meanwhile Wuk Lamat is just an orange cat with no noteworthy talents, and she's never revealed to have any noteworthy talents during the entirety of the MSQ besides giving speeches and making friends.

I think we simply disagree what defeating us easely means.
For me Zenos only had an "easy" time the first round. The second fight we already held out longer and did more to him.
Shattering his sword and armor is not however. It wasn't there without a reason. It showed that we, even if defeated, were to become a thread to him.
I think if they showed Wuk Lamat actually damaging the weapon of Bagool JaJa in their first encounter that would have made the second fight a bit more believeble. Instead her own weapon (apparently a masterpiece) was damaged.

No dungeon and questing is not enough. Again, we are the WoL. We didn't just do 08/15 dungeons to get so strong. We went up against primals, dragons, elite knights of Ishgard, superweapons and even gods and the Ascians.
Before Bagool JaJa (2nd) Wuk Lamat had dungeon and Valigarmanda who was not even at full strengh AND the scions + Zarool Ja were there as well.
Her only solo fight was against Bagool JaJa and his men nothing more really.

Of course Wuk Lamat does not save the day in the final fight. Nevertheless she holds back the boss, has a big limit break AND somehow inspires us. (Why exactly? We didn't need it)

Wuk Lamat is not the main character of the game but was treated as the big prodigy of the WoL. That doesn't make sense, is forced on us and the connection we have with our character (I know this is subjective but this is an mmo after all) and doesn't lead anywhere.

Worst of all, it is unfair to even Wuk Lamat. They pushed her so much in the spotlight that she became more hated then Lyse.

Completely agreed. People have no idea how insanely fast and unrealistically Wuk's progress is.

How about we measure her with other individuals. Let's consider Arenvald.

Arenvald possesses extensive combat experience. He has the Echo and has demonstrated his capabilities in actual combat situations, such as when he joined us in the Drowned City of Skalla dungeon and was assigned to patrol alongside Fordola, knowing he'd possibly have to fight the lunar primals. Mind you, fighting against primals as still an inexperienced person but he still has insane potential for growth.

Nevertheless, Arenvald is immediately rendered crippled compared to someone like Wuk, who seemingly transitions from struggling against talking parrots to battling deities and legends.

Even Fordola, who could contend with the WoL, doesn't achieve anything close to Wuk's feats. Despite her incredible strength and artificial Echo, Fordola had to flee from a fight with Lunar Ifrit just one expansion ago.

Wuk's progress makes other established characters, like Arenvald and Fordola, seem like mere fodder by comparison.
