As much as I hate to admit, I do agree with BelgianRofl there. While I do think he has some trollish tendencies, the post he was responding to was far worse than anything he's posted.
Unfortunately, it seems to have derailed the thread. So...patch 1.16a? I don't consider it a patch, really. I consider it more of a pre-patch for 1.16b, which in turn is some tweaks before 1.17, which should be a large patch full of nifty stuffs.
there is no patch b, 1.17 is supposed to be nextAs much as I hate to admit, I do agree with BelgianRofl there. While I do think he has some trollish tendencies, the post he was responding to was far worse than anything he's posted.

the entire point of what people have been trying to say, but what keeps getting forgotten is we were already told whats coming in the last letter from the producer
what belgium has decided to do instead, is to ignore that, even though we know for a fact he read and understands it, in order to come on here and create yet anothwer troll post, getting people like you who obviously didnt read the letter or know whats really going on to agree with him, while getting his fellow trolls to also come in and start trouble also
personaly, i think they need to take his topic creating priveleges away so we can end this nonsense

For anyone complaining about the contents (or lack thereof) of this patch, consider for a moment that the patches can't all be huge or their quality would be diminished. Consider the following:
fast
/ \
cheap --- good
You can have two out of the three in terms of software development, but never all 3 at once.

Yep, you're right. I'd just assumed that since we had the a tacked onto the end of the patch name that it was a two-part patch, like Aion does. It should be noted though that I HAVE read all of the producer letters, something I would imagine most forums-goers do. The general idea behind my post remains the same. I was responding to Belgian's initial statements, however (I generally disagree with everything he's posted in terms of game direction), but rather to his response to post #121 in this thread.there is no patch b, 1.17 is supposed to be next

So, because I'm not going to pat S-E on the back every time they don't do something with this game, I'm a troll? What's the back-patting going to accomplish anyway? There's some stiff competition coming up. People are giving up hope [1] [2].
I understand the urgency of this situation. I've said it before, and I'll say it again... Square-Enix needs to roll out some monumental changes, and they need to do it FAST. Whether or not you think I'm a troll, doesn't change this fact.
Fixed that
You can use [CENTER] tag in order to display things like that correctly. Changed size of "cheap" since its longer than "good" so the triangle would be perfectly centered![]()
