You can just tell the dev team dont care about this game XD
The mods/devs post often on XI forum, never on XIV forum.
You can donate to japan crisis and get ingame item in XI, theres nothing about this on XIV forum.
I got this sneaky feeling that they keep delaying information on Companies because they probably had something in mind but the way people bitch/complain/quit they probably thought "damn now we need to improve it!" then we just continue to complain every patch so they scared to release info haha knowing we'll probably rage if it isnt amazing.

Does it matter? FFXI is a horse on it's last leg the ps2 is near it's end i don't know how long can they keep the update going for it. They said it would take longer to remake ffxi for ps3 then making ffxiv so that why they made a new game. They don't post here because there to many fixing the game unlike FFXI where they not much to do or fix.You can just tell the dev team dont care about this game XD

				1) FFXI and FFXIV dev teams are not the same dev teams.
2) If Square Enix didn't care about FFXIV they would have let it die long time ago. They are keeping the servers up and letting us play for free. Is that not enough to show you guys how much they actually care?
3) FFXI dev team is probably bored since the game is really on it's last legs. Level cap to 100, a few more storyline missions and it is game over. I rather have the FFXIV dev team working their asses off to fix FFXIV instead of reading a forum full with ranting kids that have no clue how a dev traject is undertaken.

repliesi n bold dood1) FFXI and FFXIV dev teams are not the same dev teams. Right? So? lol Just shows their mod/devs are more involved in the community and the game. Also I hope you dont think there is 2 completely different teams working seperately on each game, you do know that the core staff, all the names you dont hear much about are the same guys? the programmer chores and 3d modellers etc.
2) If Square Enix didn't care about FFXIV they would have let it die long time ago. They are keeping the servers up and letting us play for free. Is that not enough to show you guys how much they actually care? Nah doesnt really, never seen a f2p game? And keeping server up is an accomishment now? lol Konami got their servers up within 3 days of japan events

You're missing the point of posting on a forums, they wouldnt post like us, they'd post through someone and get back to work.

				1. The dev team is largely the same, even including the fact the FF team is generally the same throughout.1) FFXI and FFXIV dev teams are not the same dev teams.

2. People know but it will hurt their arguments so they ignore it.
3. They're giving everything people want in XI now,s o it is true they were hoping to let XI die silently, but it is a good revenue source.
Diablo was the most boring game I've ever played, it's actually not as popular as you may think, Blizzard's most popular series is Starcraft followed by the online iteration of Warcraft.

your saying FFXI and FFXIV are the same team? ya you could have said that around beta1 but now ffxi and ffxiv are diff team .1. The dev team is largely the same, even including the fact the FF team is generally the same throughout.

Diablo is quite possibly the best game ever released. 15 years later, it still has the highest rating of any PC game according to the gamespot all-time ranking, and is near the top of any other list you check.
As for D3, gameplay looks kinda the opposite of boring. Dare I say, fun and addictive?
-EDIT- The mob spawns aren't 85% arbor squirrels, you might not like it. Also, the video is two years old. I guess they are making sure the game is solid before releasing it or something.

1. I'm ecstatic that the targeting system is being tweaked. I couldn't handle the change in my d-pad functionality, and am overjoyed to have the option to choose between the 'old' and 'new' ways of targeting.
2. I didn't even really expect much in the way of a patch from a country torn asunder by earthquakes, tsunamis and nuclear meltdowns. Just sayin' . . . I was shocked and pleasantly surprised that this is even happening.
