Probably revive with expansion and release ps3. Game and Japan had many punches, better times on the horizon, hope it rises soon. Best thing to do now is to enjoy what we've got and prepare for the future. Every footstep you make now will make your journey in the future more enjoyable. The game will grow with us.

The game isn't going to get better if you don't already like it... GO back to wow or something, it has what you want... An endless supply of consumers demanding a kind of sadistic monotony fortified by cliche action storytelling & HUGE teets!. Seriously though, wouldn't you rather be the driver? What if we could both drive? What if, all you had to do was stop torturing yourself & realize that the best thing these games have to offer is up for grabs, its us, the players... Not the machine... All this rabble is PURE discontentment... This game has something you can't really get elsewhere else. It has an atmosphere.

While this patch is small, I believe this was a hotfix patch that was delayed due to the earthquake etc, but I do agree overall. With so many great games out/coming out, FFXIV is quickly fading into the "why even bother" category. When the servers came back up I literally played for the duration of one levequest then alt+tab'd out, and went back to Yakuza 4. I am sure a good amount of people dropped this for Rift, and the moment TERA and GW2 come out, unless this game is amazing, I see server populations drastically dropping/merging servers.

At least they are giving patch every month, short or long it really don't care, i preffer wait a little for a long patch with cool things that making a long patch with bullshits, just because people complain if they make a patch with some things.

this is true. They are doing what they can to keep us with 2 patches a mnth. More so then another mmo. DCUO who barely even kept their promise from the get go. That game is so badly made and having way too many glitches. Then they had a promo plan advert issue which no one appologised for. So it can be worst.... we could be dealing with SoE... who are infact having issues with patches getting released cuz of well.... themselves. Sony playstion branch. There is so much red tape their patches are delayed. Add on the fact that most ppl playing DCUO on the ps3 has text to small to read.

1.16a then companies then 1.17 is out. And unless i'm mistaken based on what he said after the companies are launched they doing 2 mnths worth of battle changes and with the first change we getting instas. (instance dungeons)
Honestly rift is a joke. I looked up tyhe story outa curiosity and it was used by several MUD. They just made it a WoW clone. Tera looks kinda boring. And star wars the old republic looks like a single player rpg WoW clone with light sabers. The tunnel ship fighter looks like star fox and un impressive.
If you guys hate the game so much, maybe go play those other games. Whining isn't really helping out.
But honestly I hope you guy reread your replies to this b4 bashing ppl who claiim the game is "dissapointing" not like anyone here is saying anything better :/

You haven't played in a while, then. I didn't start playing until 2007, but I think they've been doing it for as long as I have been.

All I have to say is FFXIII did 6 million worldwide and over 4.5 million of that was PS3.
And it isn't even considered one of the best FF games.... that was only a year ago chief...
And that was against God of War III, Just Cause 2, Battlefied Bad Company 2, Modern Warfare II
So to say this game dies with the PC is kind of silly

yep, i was wonder why belgian wasn't posting this days.
Anyhow, we should already know we get 2 mini patch a month before the first major patches right now, no ? Honestly, i'm surprised they come out with patches so early with all the mess post-earthquake
