    Current situation of Range Mages + Range Phys and Melee

    range physical suffers from how low their damage are specially machinist which it supposed to be selfish range DPS.

    melee used to have very taxing positional and low range.. currently positional only cost lower dps with no combo breaking unlike black mage for example

    I would like to give my opinion how to fix:

    Magic DPS:
    • Give 50% of black mage cast time slow effect (after paradox) while black mage can move while cast with slow effect 50%
    • Summoner cast time and garuda and titan and phenix should have slow effect while casting
    • Remove any healing party ability from both summoner and red mage and let them use it on self only
    • range physical should have slow effect while pressing any button 50%
    • melee keep them at it is

    I disagree with removing party healing from red mage. Red mage is a mixture of black and white mage by definition. It's not like the healing they can do is meaningful in any content where the balance is actually important (i'm not talking about the ress here). But removing healing would just ruin part of the identity of red mages in FF lore.
