Where is Riol Forrest??

Stop bringing in characters with Limsan accents who aren't Riol Forrest!!!

When is he going to get a VA, or even just a class, when are we going to get confirmation on how to pronounce his name, how is he the most underrated NPC you've placed under the radar and the team's gotten away with it all this time???

If we don't meet with him in Merycidia where he's revealed to be a total boss and accompanies us in dungeons, I might actually riot. If he's not a funny lil parallel of "How you feel about W*k is probably how the Company of Heroes felt about you, and now you're at his level when you meet up again in Merycidia", then I'm just going to be sorely disappointed.

There's so much that could be done with his character, there's so much we don't know about him OR Merycidia.

If the post-patches of DT are not a build-up to actually knowing him better and what kind of person he is after he's ENTIRELY GONE post-EW, whereas you can still find the other disbanded Scions across the realm, then what are we doing!!!

Dawntrail was fantastic, I loved it, but I was looking for him EVERYWHERE since he alluded to either going to Tural OR Merycidia, and now it just feels confirmed after years of waiting and hoping to know more about his character - THE PRINCESS IS IN ANOTHER CASTLE, AND I'M STRESSED ABOUT IT!!!

I may be cringe in my passion about one silly little blond Limsan man we know very little about other than the fact he's full of so many secrets that you have to summon him via whistling, but I would hate for the writers to think that he's an NPC nobody cares about.

anyway, i don't expect this to pick up traction, i'm probably not going to check back in again on this thread, but i hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day/night, just begging the writing team to be nice to this silly lil blond limsan man, pls don't hurt him or write him off the cast, he did the job of three men for an extended time, begging for more lore abt him and also a VA and also a class and also HOW DO U PRONOUNCE HIS NAME???

Honestly, as little as we know of him, he really is so charming. I don't have any particular hopes or expectations, but I'm always happy to see him again, so. +1.

I love this thread, and I really think we should put a spotlight on the rest of the Scions, especially Riol, because the main cast relies on them so much. I think someone with /that/ kind of impact was present all the way back to ARR (and even before ARR if we take Riol's history with Company of Heroes into account...) and is still relevant up to the present should be featured a bit more than just a bunch of convenient NPCs for tidying up plot. Plus, I just always thought he was a pretty cool and underutilized character.

Surely this is a missed opportunity for development. +1 from me too

147 days since my search for him began, though suffice to say my quest truly began 2 years, 11 months and 12 days ago when I finished Endwalker, his absence noted as every other Scion NPC could be found in the Overworld save Riol Forrest - who'd already taken off on his adventures.....,,,

anyway, i miss him............ i miss him a lot..........

still no sign of him.....,

i will keep my vigilance, friends.........
