    Solo based challenge

    I would like if there was a mode where you get to fight the old enemies (bosses) in msq but with added mechanics/difficulty.

    Examples
    Zenos fight in endwalker and stormblood
    Venat fight
    Ranjit from shadowbringer

    You could arguably even add other characters like Estinien in the context of sparring

    Gear requirement is probably needed but should not be the major deciding factor to win the fight. Learning the fight and being skillful is the key.

    What of the healer and tank classes ?
    Can be approached in two waya
    1. The damage is adjusted accordingly
    2. NPC is added in the fight to complement the roles
    dps player + tank npc
    healer player + dps npc
    tank player + dps npc

    Depending on which role you pick the boss tactic behavior will change accordingly:
    - Healers will have select few healing spells to use in the fight or have the boss deal varied damage for healer player to deal with instead of doing only dps as intended for the role. Healers can also utilize the rescue spell to pull a snared/stunned npc. Revive spell can be used where the npc dies as part of a mechanic.

    -The tank will have to keep an eye out if the boss switches target to npc to do tank buster skill, when that happens player needs to taunt to prevent npc from getting killed.

    - dps player looks out for the npc in case a chain is applied for the player to break lest the boss kills the npc.

    For AOE dodging mechanics the npc will follow the player's position instead of players waiting for npc to pick the safe spot.

    Adds can spawn in all roles targeting the player first(healer,dps) and each role will have to deal with it differently
    - Dps player brings adds on top of tank npc telegraph aoe to switch aggro tgen kill adds.
    - healer brings adds to dps npc to quickly kill adds.
    - tank needs to aoe adds to take aggro from npc.

    Fail conditions:
    - Player dies (falling off platform, hp goes to 0, doom...etc)
    - NPC dies.

    The rewards would be glams obtained through tokens (each token type separate by boss for specific items in the shop) .

    Should there be a clear time reward ? Possible

    This is very similar to world of warcraft legion solo challenge and with the different characters available in ffxiv I think It can prove to be an interesting experience.

    Yes I understand the main thing about mmo's and am all for it, played a good amount of ex and savage content minus the ultimate trials, you'll find no objection from me on that, but I also recognize that we have for a long time a chunk of solo players like me. I understand if SE does not wish to create such content either and it wont be a deal breaker for me.
