Great review !
I'd like to give a special mention to Wuk's nanny tho, who managed to :
- Be there right on time to ruin our Xak Tural moment by losing the bracelet her favorite catgirl gave her (gotta make sure we don't forget about Wuk after all)
- Get stuck in the thunderdome for 30 years and manage to die at the exact moment Wuk decides to show up (maybe she heard the news and couldn't bear it - prob would've happened to me too)
- Manage to cross path with Wuk once again in Living Memory so that the catgirl can have one more tears-inducing moment (or swearing-spitting moment, you choose).

That's one hell of plot device driven character.

If you don't like the story that's fine but don't make up bullshit conspiracies about some consulting firm that likely had zero input on the story of this game, and there is nothing to suggest they worked with them.
And if you have to use words like DEI to mask your real views, know that to me you sound like someone who's too afraid to say the n-word, or any other slur against eg. lgbt people. Not to mention the game has absolutely no representation of the latter, which again goes against those idiotic conspiracies.

That makes no sense, and it's becoming rather common knowledge that a certain segment of the population is "using" (aka completely misusing) the phrase "DEI" as a euphemism for bona fide racism (just like what a certain phrase about some guy named "Brandon" really means).

Correction, it's common knowledge that one side is claiming people are using DEI as a euphemism for racism. That side is usually a bunch of racists that also shout about how you "Can't be racist towards <insert whoever here>" because of a made up definition that they really want to push into reality.
