Solo Duties, We Need to Talk About It

In single player FFs, sometimes you get to control other characters. Biggs, Wedge, Banon and General Leo in FF6, Sephiroth in FF7, Seifer and Edea in FF8, Marcus Blank Cinna and Beatrix in FF9, Seymour in FF10, Vossler, Larsa, Reddas in FF12, Cor Iris and Aranea in FF15. Same concept here

I miss the difficulty of the Endwalker solo duties, I played on release and people said they were too hard. Ironically, I didn't fail a single Endwalker solo duty because they were engaging the entire time. I think I failed more than half the solo duties before Endwalker because it would be 5 minutes of just going through my rotation very basically and then "Duty Failed" would pop up because I didn't stand in some bubble or read the chat. But, why would I after 5 minutes of nothing happening? That's why EW solo duties were the best, stakes were high from the get-go of the duty.

I was sad in certain DT solo duties they put markers around NPCs so it would be easier to not be seen by the NPC when "sneaking". At that point it felt entirely pointless to even do it imo and I would have loved the option to turn it off because it was more fun actually watching the movements of the NPCs.

I'm stuck again, this time playing Estinian against another ultima weapon, oh f'ing boy, so there is no way around these damn things, you can't tweak your character, boost your character, do any other f'ing thing, oh, except be driven to a story skip....

SO, that's what this is about, this is SE artificially creating another profit source... How despicable!!!!!

Spam 1. That move does damage while healing you, and makes it possible to do the entire fight close to full health if you dodge well while using it. Anytime adds appear(either on the walkway above or out in the field) press 3 to trigger a massive aoe. Most of the adds will fall in a single 3, but the big ships might take a couple. At the end the big guy goes immune and your bar gets filled, so press 5 to end the fight. Thats it, just those 3 buttons. You can ignore the DoT, you can ignore the CD, you just cant ignore the adds. They pile up complicating things, and the bit adds will self destruct and kill you.
