So...gonna re-release previous PvP series rewards for crystals or NOT?

Hoping we at least get new stuff to spend the crystals on next patch… I have everything I want already but I keep maxing out on crystals!

Agreed, but adding old series rewards to the vendor would go a long way for people like me who are too lazy to grind the passes lol

We don't need something as resource intensive as several new glam sets added to the vendor every single season, but I can't figure out why they aren't trying to stretch out all the content they've already made for PVP. Adding a new currency and a battlepass as completely separate reward tracks for the same mode doubled the effort on their part, so why not combine the two in some way and make everyone happy? I honestly figured that was the plan from the start.

I have all series reward but i don't think i ever grind pvp any day, just do 1 FT roulette per day, win or lost i don't really care and will reach rank 25 after couple of month

I took the first season easy and enjoyed it at my own pace 'cause I thought they were getting rid of fomo.

And then they kept the fomo and I stopped engaging with the game mode all together because I had already missed so much and there was no way of getting it back...

I'd like to care again, but this type of reward structure is actual poison for my motivation.

they told us they wouldnt do time limited rewards so it will be back. they never said how and when though. they never talked about it again neither.

This is what I thought. That they had said something along these lines.


The game has so many ways to bring these back. Room for new vendor at pvp. Collars,crystals or wolf marks or even a new currency. Or it doesn't hurt me if they added it somewhere else in the game. Gold saucer, Eureka,deep dungeon,variant, bozja, mog tomes, go crazy and grand company worthwhile for a bit. Some of the older content could be spread around to other things it wouldn't break the game.

What they could have done was cycle the milestone rewards into the trophy crystal pool(maybe piecemeal instead of complete sets) and later to the wolf mark pool. I don't think there've been new wolf mark rewards apart from materia for several years at this point, and it feels like one of many dead currencies.

Now that Viper is out, I am disappointed I didn't get any of those PvP knight armors that can be transmogged by any class.

This. I'm a minion collector and I missed the most recent one because I hadn't realized that Dawntrail early access was a thing, after having been away from the game for so long. I just barely missed the minion by one CC match despite leaving work early and grinding for 2 hours straight to get it. I don't see the point in restricting older items like they've been doing thus far--plus, if you play a lot of PvP, you'll quickly realize that there's not much for you to spend currencies on. I think that the devs threw out the PvP overhaul and gave the hand wave-y statement of, "we'll bring back older items for trade" without really committing to it. I doubt there's anyone on the team who cares. It's disheartening.

As I mentioned on page 1, please don't go the way of full despair and actually give a wait until the big pvp patch (7.1). I'm not saying this as a meme, but because they choose X.1 for some odd reason to do huge overhauls about PvP everytime, including rewards.

They are way behind the speculated schedule (gotta hate their lack of transparency) regard rereleasing rewards, we know this. It's best to cast the final verdict on 7.1, a full expansion after the first battle pass launched with the Archfiend set.

Bumping again, would love to hear any sort of dev comment one way or another. Nothing has been said about old rewards showing up in 7.1, so guessing it's still a no show. There just isn't anything left worthwhile to even to spend crystals on, and the system even blocks you from rank ups until you waste some crystals to make soom... COME ON
