Problems after today's patch

Hi

Had to download a patch of about 200-300 mb before starting playing just now. And it caused problems...

The game starts in a small windowed mode, and I can't use Alt+Enter to force it into full-screen. I can, however, "maximize" the winow by clicking on the square icon on the top right, but I can't get rid of the top-screen bar or whatever to call it.

And after the queue is done, and it's about to load the game, it simply goes on forever. The moogle is there and nothing happens.

What's going on? I wanna play !!!!!

UPDATE:

On the starting screen, I selected options, to check settings. Turned out I have the full screen option selected, but it starts in windowed full screen.

I managed to enter the game, but it's a SLOW slideshow. I'm trying to ask for help in chat, but afer 5+ minutes, only parts of the text is updating.

I logged on into Limas's aetherite, and it took around 15 minutes to load 2 characters there, and at this time of day, it's usully dozens, if not hundreds. The framerate is insanely low, it takes around 3 seconds for the aetherite to update it's animation.

Trying to click on the XIV button at the very bottom rights to check options, it does NOTHING. 15 minutes of clicking it, and it will NOT open.

I've NEVER had a technical problem with this game, until today.

PLEASE HELP !!!!

SOLVED:

Seems the AMD drivers were causing problems. Updating them fixed everything
