[Xbox] Game Crashes in loading transitions

My partner and I have been starting to play Dawntrail this morning, both on Xbox (one on Series X, one on Series S)
We encountered numerous game crashes when we enter loading transitions. (Teleporting, cutscene loading, entering new areas)
We first notice the loading circle freezing before the music just stops and nothing loads anymore.
This is an extremely frustrating experience, considering we very much looked forward to playing the expansion.

Completely freezes. Thankfully it didn’t skip the cutscenes when loading back in

Yes exactly the same! Ah well, I can wait till its fixed but I hope its fixed soon I am very hyped to play

To be specific I guess it seems to only be the black screen transition that has the loading wheel in the bottom and also has the chat log still on the screen. I’ve not seen it happen with any other transition yet. For instance like the quick black screen between cutscenes doesn’t seem to cause it.

Having the same issue on a series s I freeze less if I skip cutscenes as soon as possible

I am having the exact same experience. Was attempting to unlock viper and even transitioning from one Uldar aetherite to another the game would hang. Attempted twice and it reproduced both times during a transition, exactly the same as OP described. Currently seems unplayable on the Xbox.

Yep same here series X freezes on almost ever black fadeout dg Ques aethernet cut scenes etc

Can confirm it seems to be in Inn rooms and anything with its own instance, however it does reload after a quick reset. Am on Xbox Series x

I am also having the same issue, tried a couple of fixes so far:

- Running on an Xbox Series X on the Internal memory
- Got around 7 freezes this morning in the first 2 hours just by teleporting around the city and going into cut scenes
- Transferred to SEA server Sephirot, freezes are way less common but they are still happening
- Also noticed the frame rate is worse than it was prior to the update, could be due to lag but feels worse than i've seen it
- Tried full restart and shutdown of Xbox before i realised it was happening to so many people

Side note - the annoying profanity filter is still in effect, cant type savage or raids for example but now i can type night so...something has changed

Can’t even play freeze you exit inn or load to new area.
