are we talking about a 3rd largest JP gaming companies in the world or what?Graphics update, understand these devs are only one major change at a time. Folks really really really dont understand the limited capabilities of SE vs something like Blizzard that now has the backing of Microsoft and can quite literally throw tons of money into its devs and hiring then letting go hundreds of employees. Not really a way most Japanese companies conduct themselves who love seniority and life time employees.
Square enix is not larger than blizzard, but at least they can afford more than 4 people
If they are truly reworking all jobs in 8.0 they probably started on that. Especially if what they typically deliver usually takes them 2 years![]()
we are talking about 3rd biggest gaming company in JP and from what i know studying math that they can afford more than 4 people for designing jobs for their biggest game that filled their stomach in their historyGraphics update, understand these devs are only one major change at a time. I wouldn't believe it until I saw it,
they rolled the ball with dragoon and Astrologian.. I don't think they will do much in the next expansion
Well I can only assume they rolled the ball on those two because of that global rework. No need to rework 2 jobs if you know the whole job design philosophy changes 2 years later.
But...indeed I won't believe it until I saw it either.
I feel like the Job Team, and the Writing Team, have all gathered in a room together, got absolutely blitzed off their backsides, scribbled the most asinine stuff they could think of for Dawntrail, and somehow, that ended up being the final product. They also shared with the hiring team, which is why Wuk Lamat sounds like Microsoft Sam's slightly racist sister. Because man, that accent and voice acting almost seem like they're purposefully designed to be offensive to everyone.
Nobody knows...monk plays even worse then before, so i had to drop it and now struggling to find a new dps class for me, after they destroyed Summoner in Shb and now Monk in DT.
As someone who is also bitter about how they removed ShB summoner, I have been having a good time with Picto so far. Got that same kinda vibe where you can bank instant casts for movement but still need to plant a decent amount.
They should just stop reworking jobs at all. They have no idea what they are doing and no clear goal. Take AST changes (that happen every single expansion for no reason and still have no end in sight) for example. What was the point of the Draw changes for DT? Did they make the job easier? No. Harder? No. More engaging? No. Did they reduce button bloat? No! Did they bring the job closer to its initial Heavensward design? No. Did they give it something new and fresh to evolve it from the initial design? No.
Actual changes done for the sake of slapping them on the patch notes and acting like something was done. Gap closer changes? No purpose. DRG changes? No purpose.
The only time they change things for any sort of purpose is when they make jobs more and more brain-dead. And since that's all they want to achieve, I'd prefer they just not do any reworks.
Negative, its simply what yall cope, to cry and whine over and over, yet nothing happens, NOTHING will happens. The game has change, will you, no, then move along...What is this new cope?
The battle team is shared with the graphics/programming team now?
The insane rising player count + mog station + sales of the last few years deserves less content for us?
Basic content like this? Isn't that why we lost our extra dungeon per patch also...?
