Are the devs ever going to fix Physick for SMN?

I don't know how yet another expansion has gone by and Physick is still broken on Summoner.
For those of you unaware, Physick is a 400 potency healing action for Arcanist, and it scales with Mind. Mind is a healer stat. This made no sense to begin with because Arcanist is a DPS job, but it remains unchanged when it upgrades into Summoner. This means that at higher levels it does almost nothing at all. This isn't just a case of an ability being underpowered or being somewhat irrelevant in current content, it is functionally broken.
This seems like it would be a really easy fix. Scholar even has its own unique version of Physick, for some reason, and yet Summoner can't get its own version that scales with INT instead.

It's been, what, 10 years? I haven't been a day one player so I don't know if this actually worked different at some point.
I'm just sick of seeing this thing already. Either fix it or remove it, please. I don't care which.

The only time Physick has ever worked is around like level 1-30 in 2.0 when caster gear still hasn’t separated int/mind values on gear. And even then it’s not like they were replacing healers or anything lol.

I have no idea why they’ve allowed Physick to say in the state it currently is for so long. There is literally no justification for its existence on Summoner anymore now that Scholar have their own version.

Don’t get me wrong I’d love to see it actually scale with Intelligence, but given how things are for healers right now I can see why just removing it and replacing it with something else is the better/easier option

I'd like to see it upgrade into something that confers a buff that isn't healing related while keeping the baby heal there.

It may be a meme action but it's the kind of thing that ends up being fun to use in solo PotD and so I'd rather see it just grow in a unique direction.

The healing is so insignificant that it could stay that way but give you something good in exchange for using it.

Edit: Radiant Aegis successfully shielding damage should proc SMN Physick, make it an instant cast ogcd on proc that can be weaved, still barely heals the target but confers a small damage bonus to the SMN.

This would make it a super niche tool that won't be necessary to use to play the job but open up chances to take advantage of unavoidable damage in certain scenarios in order to get a small, short DPS gain.

I think they look it at as an inside joke at this point. The move should've been deleted years ago or changed into a different skill for SMN compared to SCH. The fact they haven't done anything to it and it's so laughable broken at this point is just a punchline I think they're keeping with for a bit of tongue in cheek fun.

They'll probably fix it around the same time they do something with Cure 1.

I still think they should raise it's MP cost and make it Int scaling the same way RDM's Vercure does... Maybe even upgrade it to a Phoenix themed heal while they're at it.
