Cry me a river!
I can name 6 ls's on my server that have over 50 members. How's is it with you having all 50's
you can't find a LS with people in it on your server. (just speculation) you must have a horrible personality.

This is a totally uncalled for comment and reeks of disrepect to me. PS: the people left because the game didn't interest them (even though they were dire FF fans) or because they chose another server.

Looks like you should to go plan B.
Plan B: Make a few new friends and get an active linkshell.
"Fuss free" doesn't mean "solo."
If you can't shout and form a party for brand new content, then you're doing something wrong. Make a new LS if the ones you have arent useful.
To me, the least fuss-free part is simply the prerequisites.

I was hoping it would be as well, but it is what it is. Had fun!

Hey Lurex. Sit in Limsa and shout for a party. Or Uldah. You will get one relatively quick, regardless of what job. Skirmish is hot and probably will be so for the remainder of the game version.
As far as "Like Campaign" you really have to stop nit picking. Campaign like content isn't even possible with this engine and that's been a spoke rule since we were first explained the situation.
Even without a linkshell, you should have little to no issue getting into Skirmish, especially now. Pressing to do so might even net you another linshell - that actually has active members. Why you keep six dead ones is beyond me. If you friends were long gone, then you should have been looking for new ones a long time ago.
Sorry, I neglected to answer the question.
It's fuss free as you don't need eight to enter.
It's fuss free that completing it = 1 guaranteed weapon drop speedrunning = 2. There's no RNG to worry over.
It's fuss free that these weapons are salable, meldeable, convertible, and better than crafted items.
It's fuss free in that it contains monsters that would elsewhere be limited to raid content, world bosses, scripted battles, etc, that you would need to actually do research to even find or reach.
Perhaps you have never experienced any of these fusses, and have ones differing from the Developer's definition, and that's fine. But your fusses are not about the content itself, but your lack of networking ability. The content itself is relatively easy to get into compared to the bulk of other content in this game.

Thanks, what is the "fuss free battle content" though?Hey Lurex. Sit in Limsa and shout for a party. Or Uldah. You will get one relatively quick, regardless of what job. Skirmish is hot and probably will be so for the remainder of the game version.

*There's no pre-requisite quest unless you count being in a Grand Company.
*You don't have to gather any items to get rewards (like with Primals)
*The content is not incredibly difficult for a group of 8, so it's not out of the question to PUG it.
I'd say that's pretty fuss-free. Finding a party is probably the hardest part lol.
That's pretty interesting, if Skirmish includes all of the "dungeon bosses". Then the event does act like a training regimen for players to adjust to the strategy of certain mobs so it's easier for them to join groups in which they want you to know what to do beforehand.Hey Lurex. Exactly. I hope it's a trend they continue, though I do see people just wanting to burn these down without thinking for quick wins.
That doesn't mean the opportunity is not there, however. And as the weapons are salable, people can bypass the grind by purchasing the weapons and actually use the event for training.
