Application Error - The instruction at 0x0xxxxxxxx

    Hi all

Lately when closing the Steam version of FFXIV, whenever I close the application I get this Application Error message pop up:

I've checked my PCs drivers and things seem to be fine, and I haven't done anything with the FFXIV files on my PC, only ever kept the game up to date when it needs to update on the log in page. Does anyone know what this error is?

you can run Windows Memory Diagnostic if you're worried that your ram is going.

but the error only happens when you close the game?

Currently doing a Windows Memory Diagnostic, so we'll see if it spots anything, thank youy!

Weird thing is, after updating the game after the maintenance today and closing it to do the diagnostic just now, the game didn't close with this message this time?

Could be a memory thing, could be my version of the Steam version was somehow compromised pre-maintenance. Will keep an eye on it and see if it happens again
