Remember, there are bitter people out there that will go out of their way to create new accounts just to Give it a low score, happens with a lot of games.
Thats why you really can't trust what others say, only your own opinion.

Huh, it was like a 8.5 user score when I checked a couple days ago. Guess people are finishing the story and seeing it's kind of bad, huh
This is honestly how it should be. As someone that raids and engages with the end game, my view of an expansion has more to do with how I feel about the content. I don't skip the story or anything, I just spend way more time in the game raiding, doing stuff like criterion, Eureka, EX trials, etc.
Yes but it goes both ways, people will sign up multiple times just to give it a score of 10, eventually these kind of things even out with some sort of bias to on side or the other but it should not be segnificant, there are courses about that in uni when learning statistics, user agency to cheat is something that is taken account in these systems.
tldr: it evens out +-.
Honestly I dont think so, most players dont do high end content, most players will remmber any xPac by its story alone not by raids or extremesThis is honestly how it should be. Yeah, review padding, which is sometimes done by company-paid shills or overzealous fans.Yes but it goes both ways, people will sign up multiple times just to give it a score of 10, eventually these kind of things even out with some sort of bias to on side or the other but it should not be segnificant, there are courses about that in uni when learning statistics, user agency to cheat is something that is taken account in these systems.

The Legends of the Titanmen lives on, a shining example of the power of compassion and the ability of people to make a difference in the world. A reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope, as long as there are heroes like the Titanmen who dare to do good deeds in Eorzea.
Careful, now. They'll call you phobic for daring to use the term "trap card"...
Or review bombing is indeed happening when the bitter cabal couldn't stand seeing that most people are in fact really enjoying the game.
For whatever reason I rarely agree with the critics score. I agree more with user scores. In so many games it's like that as well. More generic and representative of actual players, I guess.
