Impressed with the healing requirements in DT

SEnix delivered on making higher damage output in our content so far. It's more difficult to only OGCD heal dungeons, especially the expert dungeons. Theres even trash enemies that dual-stomp aoe which is something I hope to see more of. But the extreme trials are where it's really at.

They really threw out a ton of mechanics and movement and damage patterns that I am really pleased with. 6 tank busters in a row? check. Bleeds that last entire phases? check. Needing to aoe heal while running around the arena? check. Light party splits with aoe spams (with movement and dps requirements), aoe spams that result in many groups using tank lb to survive (not necessary if your healers are on top of it ofcourse. can even solo heal with seraphism or neutral sect etc)

They really did throw in a lot of good healing check mechanics. It's much harder to get away with only-ogcd healing in DT so far than in Endwalker. Which is a great change. I just hope this healing power to incoming damage ratio remains throughout the expansion and continues to surprise me in new ways.

I hope I can make it to 100 and try out the Extreme trials before the scrubs whine that it's too hard. I'd still like some more damage buttons, but hopefully I can spend this whole expansion without falling asleep mashing 1.

I'll give healer a try up until level 100. If I do not like it, I'm off the role, entirely.

If you have time I'd encourage you to give the ex's a try before normal raid comes out. I have a feeling this nice feeling will go away once higher gear is available.

If we wind up out gearing the challenge again, I'm just gonna hop off this role indefinitely. No one can say we didn't give the role one last try before being let down one last time by CBU3.
