Maintenance Timing

Why on earth in the maintenance time so stupid, like it's a weekend and your deciding to do 4 hour maintenance from 12:30 until 16:30, who thought that was a good idea. We need to have a free day sub for this because that pretty much the whole day for some of us who are not able to play that much.

I get that it's not convient for you. I'm in EU too.
But, the reason is most likely due to the maintenance team is located in JP.

We are getting 2 (10 if you're on Xbox) days compensated. Let's not be karens.

The fix is apparently to patch the Xbox freezing issue. I'm sure the xbox community is happy the issue that been going on for 2 weeks is getting attention ASAP and not waiting until next week.

If the issue affected PC/Playstation I'm sure people would say the same thing, demanding it to get patched ASAP a solution is found.

Because it's an emergency. Presumably for the terrible crashing Xbox players experience. Which makes the game basically unplayable.

Also I'll take any excuse to not play Dawntrail, so I'm good. (I'm half joking guys, no need to take everything so seriously.)

Eh maintenance is a normal part of the game and Dawntrail does not glue me on the game as the other expansions did.
Other games also have maintenance. Just enjoy the nice weather. I'm sitting in a café right now.

This is why we need separate servers for console and pc.. The experiences of each system are so different. FF 14 on the computer has its 400+ third party apps and 5 bots which are fully supported and have been working for 10 years. Console players are so disadvantaged vs computers.

yeah lets fck up 90% ot the playerbase for a smaller group. NOONE says they dont have to fix it but why on a day where people have time. Xbox community will be happy who cares they couldve waited till tuessday like litterally everyone else. DT is more and more a spit in the face for people who actually try to play this game with all its "minor" flaws geez i have to wash my hands after saying this... but yeah lets fck up everyones saturday with a 4 hours maint. 10 people will be happy. good lord some people will coping even if this game will lose all their players ...
