This is why we need separate servers for console and pc.. The experiences of each system are so different. FF 14 on the computer has its 400+ third party apps and 5 bots which are fully supported and have been working for 10 years. Console players are so disadvantaged vs computers.

You don't need any of those third party apps to play the game if you're good.

And FF XIV is one of the very few games that support keyboard and mouse on consoles (for PS side at least), their biggest disadvantage against PC is limited mouse sensitivity options.

this is my issue with it, if they just did the Tuesday maintenance today I'd be fine with it. They won't, they will have this and then also the normal Tuesday maintenance as well.

You're mad you don't get to play for 4 hours, think of the poor Xbox players that have been unable to play for longer due to constant crashes. They are giving some free game time as well, which they do not have to do either, due to the Ts&Cs.

Honestly I was wondered why they brought FFXIV to X Box in general.
Isn't this console dieing for years now? Sales in Japan are very poor.
Globally, things aren't going well either. I also heard that it's pointlessly difficult
for X Box players to make the FFXIV subscription.

It's just my personal opinion, but I think it was a mistake to port it to X Box.
But I have not much knowlegde of how the buisness goes and why they did it.

something broken with a char is not an emergency to me but yeah. i am not new to play onlinegames funfact most other games can hotfix most of their emergencys on the fly btw. Its not about me but it doesnt mean i dont have right to complain what the hell where does this opinion come from. for the point it stands it can happen but theres no point in there which forbid me to raise my complain about it. Everyone have their right for it you me and the guy on the other continent..

not sure what it is about DawnTrail but sure has brought out a... different group of people.

its emergency... maintenance... I am sure the people having to deploy it are thrilled its THEIR weekend as well. the only thing being wasted here is the time spent complaining about it instead of doing something else. it happens... life will go on. the world does not revolve around you, get used to it.

Mate, I'm in EU also but even I know what an emergency maintenance is and why is it needed.
