This was re-added intentionally by the devs post benchmark because the mouth originally had a lip gap prior to Dawntrail. The new mouth has completely different geometry though, and so the gap is much more visible from different angles than before which is why you're noticing it so much.

I would love to see the lip shape reworked to be closer to the original in 6.0 and before.

I don't mind it in the neutral but it being in the animations it wasn't in before is the issue. Which is basically any of them affected the lips

I definitely hope they don't remove it fully, it wasn't a big in the first place it was a feature. It's a bit too strong now but it definitely should still be present or else the face doesn't have same feel.

Er, sorry. Meant to say it wasn't a bug, not a big. Darn autocorrect.
Lip gap is cute and was there to begin with, but is definitely a bit strong now.

We're even more of a mouth breather now, which I kind of like. Gives it a visible character flaw.
