Nah, the first thing that came to mind in Tuliyollal was Emperor's New Groove. For that reason alone, I really don't mind it. Everything else has been pretty standard FF XIV fare by Soken.
I wasn't crazy about the music, tbh. FFXIV usually comes out with bangers from the title screen but I was shockingly underwhelmed this time around. And we cruse into port in an unexplored, tropical city built into a mountain side and they went with... jazz? I mean it's an ok track but what about Tuliyolal says big band, let's do the charleston razzmatazz?
I love how some people are coping by saying it's "Latin jazz" when it's nothing even close to it.
Yes. Sort of.
Although this is what I had in mind whenever Im forced to help Lamat with her errands

I swear I could turn off ffxiv audio, loop that soundtrack, and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Well, actually maybe I'd enjoy the spongebob music more, it's very catchy at least.Yes. Sort of.
