    Most of the big FATEs and S ranks do? There's still a random timer involved but once the timer releases the boss to be able to spawn, we have to meet the trigger conditions for the FATE or S rank to actually appear.

    That's not going to stop players with nothing better to do with their time from camping zones that show the spawn window is open. They're already doing that.

    Not necessarily.. Behemoth FATEs in Coerthas are level 50, but only sync you down to 70. Odin no longer scales on defeat, is fixed at level 50, and also only syncs down to 70.
    The big HW FATEs sync down to 70, but that's slightly less impactful.
    Ixion, down to 80.
    Wasn't until ShB (well.. EW technically) that the big FATEs synced to within 4 levels instead of 10.

    Fates and S rank hunts do have a trigger. The only ones that don't are B Ranks (respawns in ~5 seconds iirc) and A ranks, which are usually left alone for a hunt train. You don't really have to worry too much about 'right place' as much as 'right time', basically just don't be busy when things are nearing cap. I don't know how things work over on Hyperion, but on Cactuar we typically recommend joining a Hunt LS and if you're worried about missing a train, check in the LS when the last train was. Usually a train won't start until ~5 hours after the previous train at the earliest.

    Fate bosses have manual triggers typically tied to fate chains, although some older fates were also tied to zone weather. S Rank hunts ARE manually spawned, through a variety of means, and standard etiquette is to call the hunt to hunt LS and wait until the spawners pull, but early expansion there's so many people that they get anxious and pull early. There's been requests to make FATE bosses and S ranks have a few minute invuln timer to allow everyone to arrive and join a party, but that's unlikely to happen.

    There are various Discord channels and websites dedicated to providing the time a fate world boss pops-up and their spawn window might occur. Utilizing these resources can save you countless hours of waiting. It's worth noting that no world fate boss can be defeated in just 10 seconds, unless it is an S Rank. I highly recommend joining these Discord communities to stay informed about Fate and hunt train

    They do scale some but there's a cap to how far one will scale. Right now, so many players are showing up the cap is greatly exceeded.

    They'll feel better in a few weeks when the "must have now" players have their rewards and the hype dies down. It happens every expansion.

    It'd be kind of cool if the game has some more in game resources instead of having to rely on third party stuff. Seems like an easy fix to this is to just have them spawn on a timer every x hours, GW2 does this (or the pre-requisites are obvious and there's a spawn delay after completing them) and you can just open the timers by typing /wiki et.

    As of now they're kind of a pain to do casually.

    Yes, there are hidden in game INVISIBLE triggers for Boss fates and S ranks. But that’s just the problem they are invisible. No clear way to randomly know in game when things could pop. Not everyone can be terminally online everyday to wait around for things to pop. Fate chains are great if I can expect the rare fate to pop after I clear it, but it never does. The Azeim stepe has a great fate chain. Only roadblock is a fate that you cannot solo so it fails often resetting the chain. But if you have a party together you can span the rest of the fates. Raktika and Ilmeg has something similar but is soloable I’ve found. But the rare boss fates no reward for doing the work. Unless you happen to randomly be online at the right time.

    For hunts. If I could spend an hour in a zone doing specific things to pop a hunt mob, make it feel like an actual hunt. That would be amazing. Waiting on the mobs to randomly spawn, then also waiting for a group of strangers to zone hop and kill them at a random time of day, also not fun. Just having an alternate on demand option for hunts would be great. Could be a way to bring back combat levequest or make special hunting maps,which are basically like levequests. That way you can spawn a hunt mob for your specific group. But just adding something more on demand for hunts so make them far more accessible to people rather than just being lucky to be online at the right time.
